Eternal Grace Photography

So you thought we forgot about our blog????

Actually we have had a hard time writing about anything that isn’t political, so we haven’t written anything at all. You see, according to the Espionage Act of 1917, The Smith Act of 1940, and the Patriot Act of 2001 we have to be careful what we say. Freedom of speech only applies when you are happy with they way your government is run…..

Enough!

What we are sharing is simply fun wedding aNeMonE photos taken by the incredibly talented Amber Halpin of Eternal Grace Photography!!

New Spokane Restaurant

Well are thrilled to share Spokane’s newest restaurant, brought to us by the owners of ELK PUBLIC HOUSE, and THE TWO SEVEN PUBLIC HOUSE. El Que, located right behind the Elk, serves 23 different tequilas, including infused tequilas. We tried the Tamales and they were AWESOME!! This place is small and a new favorite of ours. Go check it out! Visit the website

By the way, if you haven’t seen the corner of Main and Wall yet, you are in for a surprise. The Main Market co-op building is looking so great you may confuse our city for one of our larger neighbors. If you are not already a member, and you support the concept of good food, buy a membership now!

Not only is your membership refundable if you are not satisfied with it, by becoming a member you become an owner! If you plan on shopping there (which you will want to once you see the deli menu) your membership will pay for itself. SO….. Jump on the early band-wagon and buy a membership NOW!~! Learn More Here

We will still love you if you don’t :)

We hope to see you soon.

Another reason to fight the man-made global warming propaganda

Irena Sendlerowa
1910-2008

May 12 marked the death of a 98-year-old lady named Irena.

During WWII, Irena received permission from the Nazis to work in the Warsaw ghetto as a plumbing/sewer specialist.

She had an ulterior motive…

Being German, she knew the Nazis’ plans for the Jews and smuggled infants out in the bottom of the large tool box she carried. Larger children were placed in a burlap sack in the back of her truck. Also in the back was a dog that she had trained to bark each time the Nazi guards allowed her out of the ghetto and back in.

The soldiers, of course, wanted nothing to do with the dog, and its barking covered any noise made by the infants and small children. Irena managed to smuggle out approximately 2,500 children before she was finally caught. In 1943 Sendler was arrested by the Gestapo, severely tortured, and sentenced to death. Żegota saved her by bribing German guards on the way to her execution. She was left in the woods, unconscious and with broken arms and legs. She was listed on public bulletin boards as among those executed. For the remainder of the war, she lived in hiding, but continued her work for the Jewish children. She kept a record of the names of all the children she smuggled out of that Warsaw ghetto and kept them in a glass jar buried under a tree in her back yard.

After the war, she tried to locate any parents who may have survived so she might reunite the child with its family. Most, of course, did not survive the Holocaust, and the vast majority of the surviving children were placed in foster homes or adopted.

Last year Irena was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, but she lost to Al Gore, who won the award for presenting a movie on Global Warming. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irena_Sendler

Not just a great photographer…

When you come across people who are fun and wonderful to work with, it is only an added bonus that they are completely talented. Here is where I tell you we found Ben Delaney. Our only thought is… who would not like this guy?

His website will show you his work… WEBSITE!! and his SPASH-PAGE will show you his humor, or maybe only we think he is funny??

Point being, Ben was the photographer at Kate and Shanes wedding. Kate and Shane picked 4 very bold primary colors and wanted us to create a look for them! My favorite part about this couple was how laid back they were. They had fun planning the wedding, trusted the help they hired, and ultimately had a blast at their party.

Here is the only photo I have seen from

the charming Ben Delaney.

Have FUN and be you….

There are no rules….

This is your wedding and only a celebration!
